WOW! More than 700 people visited our inn this past weekend for the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Holiday Cookie Tour. The Blue Heron Inn was decked out in its best holiday finery and offered visitors terrific decorating hints and ideas. Visitors sampled our delicious and much-raved-about “Decadent Dark Chocolate Turtle Cookie Bars” while touring the inn and relaxed by the backyard pool with cookies and cranberry spritzers. The B&B Association was able to donate $3,000 to “Friends of the Library,” a non-profit group seeking to enhance and modernize Amelia Island’s beautiful historic downtown library. If you missed it, don’t worry – there will be delicious cookies and recipes again next year!
